Lavandula x intermedia 'Grosso'

This wonderful “Lavandin” has reputedly the strongest fragrance amongst all the Lavender family.

It also rejoices in the common name of “Fat Lavender”, because the flowers are so fat, plump, and exceptionally long (flower heads can be up to 15cm. in length – truly grosso size!!).

Flowers of deep, rich violet, above silver-green foliage.

This is the classic Lavender seen in the fields of France, bringing the scent and colours of Provence straight into your garden. 80cm High x 50cm Wide approx. Very successful as a single specimen shrub, as a hedge, or in a container.
