MULBERRY JAM SAGE - Salvia involucrata ‘Mulberry Jam’

Salvia involucrata ‘Mulberry Jam’ blooms brightly with rich mulberry-cerise velvety blooms, the colour of delicious mulberry jam with a particularly long blooming period from mid-summer on into winter.

Long, slender and elegant flower heads, distinguished by a velvety top knot at the tip, like a bobble on a beanie hat. Together with slender dark green foliage, wine coloured backs to the leaves, and dark stems, all make an all-round attractive shrub.     

LARGE MEXICAN SAGE - Salvia involucrata 'Bethelli

A hardy, late-flowering perennial with lush green foliage and brilliant deep pink, tubular blooms that light up the garden. Loved by bees and birds, it thrives in a sunny to partly shaded spot with well-drained soil.

FRENCH LAVENDER - Lavandula dentata candicans

Is a striking lavender with soft, silvery-grey foliage that shimmers in the sun. Its fragrant purple flower spikes bloom over a long season, attracting bees while thriving in dry, well-drained soil. An easy to grow, hardy and highly frost tolerant French lavender.

SOUTHERN SAGE - Salvia muirii

Salvia muirii is a pretty flowering perennial with small mauve-blue and white flowers. It is best suited in full sun to part shade. Perfect for borders, driveways, pots and containers and cottage-style gardens.

LAVENDER AVONVIEW - Lavandula 'Avonview'

Lavandula ‘Avonview’ combines delightful flowers with fresh perfume and handsome silver-grey foliage. Each bloom sports a jaunty topknot of bright purple streamers, above deep lavender-blue flower spikes. ‘Avonview’ is particularly prized for its long blooming period over spring, summer and autumn, or all year round in mild places.
Valued also for compact growth with elegant colour and fresh scent in both flower and foliage.   

Lavandula ‘Avonview’ makes a hardy, easy to grow hedge, as well as a handsome individual specimen shrub or container plant at 80cm high approx.

It is easily and quickly grown in full sun. ‘Avonview’ is heat, drought and frost resistant, and also tolerates summer humidity better than most Lavenders.
Adored by bees and butterflies for abundant sweet nectar.

BOG SAGE - Salvia uliginosa

Salvia uliginosa is a tall, hardy perennial with vibrant indigo-blue flowers and an almost indestructible nature. Flowering from late spring through winter, it attracts bees even in cooler months. Best grown in dry areas, it can spread in moist soils—regular pruning keeps it tidy.

JOAN’S SAGE - Salvia involucrata ‘Joan’

Showy large heads of sugar-pink flowers. And it is hard to catch “Joan” out of flower. Because she blooms practically all year round. Including in the middle of winter in milder areas.

‘Joan’ is a tough hardy girl for long hot summers. But she also tolerates humidity with the heat very well. And is reported to be more tolerant of summer wet than many of her cousins. As well as being more tolerant of frost than many others, and reliably able to regenerate from the rootstock after a hard winter.

‘Joan’ also has large, attractive, fresh green foliage. And can be used to make an informal backdrop hedge, or a solo taller central plant.

SPOTTED LENTEN ROSE - Helleborus x hybridus 'Spotted Prince'

This winter-flowering beauty has creamy white flower petals generously freckled in rich burgundy spots. Its nodding blooms rise above lush, dark green foliage, bringing elegant colour to shaded gardens when little else is in flower. Tough and long-lived, it thrives in cool, well-drained soil and dappled shade. Ideal to plant beneath deciduous trees.

CRIMSON LENTEN ROSE - Helleborus x hybridus 'Duke of Burgundy'

A stunning, easy-care Hellebore with rich burgundy blooms, flowering when little else does in the cooler months. Grows 40–50cm tall and spreads to a metre over time. Perfect for mass planting, pots, or garden beds.

BLUE FRENCH LAVENDER - Lavandula dentata ‘Ploughman’s Blue’

‘Ploughman’s Blue’ is valued for the deep blue-purple colouring of the flowers which contrast strikingly with grey-green foliage.

Lovely scent from the flowers and strongly aromatic foliage. Taller, broader growing and ideal for larger hedges (80cm-1m. High x 60-80cm. Wide).
